How We Help You

Consult:

The first thing we need to do is learn as much about your business as we possibly can. We want to build a profile of what you do, what sort of person you're trying to attract and what we can do to make them want to buy from you. Once we know as much as we can about you, your business and your goals we'll go away to come up with a cunning plan.

Research:

The next thing we do is some good old fashioned research. We'll look at your competitors' websites to see what they're doing. We'll look at the websites that you like and the websites that you don't like. We'll do some keyword analysis to see what your potential clients are searching for online. We'll feed all of this back to you and then we'll start the fun bit.

Design:

This is where we'll start to be able to show you some of the pretty bits. Usually we'll come up with 2 or 3 different ideas based on the information you give us at the consultation phase. If we get it wrong we'll do some more. In 99 cases out of 100 we get pretty close with the initial ideas. It will probably be subtle changes that you want to make to get everything perfect.

Develop:

Your website will be based around an award winning content management system that will allow you to have full control of your website to update text and images whenever you want from any computer. You don't need any technical knowledge to do this and you'll have our full support. This phase is where we implement all of this and tie it in with your design.

Content:

Now we need to start getting your content in. We need you to supply this to us by the time we get to this phase or the project will fall behind. It's important that you can commit to this as websites where we're struggling to get content from the client will always start to slip and deadlines will be missed. Once the content is in, you'll start to see the site take shape.

Test:

We want to make sure that the site we release onto a waiting world is all working and ready to go. There will always be permutations of use that will catch us out but we're prepared for that and schedule time in to deal with surprises no matter how far down the road we are. What we want to avoid is the embarrasing issues.

Finish:

The last thing we do is all the tidying up. We'll make sure that Google Analytics is installed and that a site map is generated and submitted to Google. We'll add the site into our developer account with Google so that we can see if there are any indexing problems. All the little bits that will be vital going forward are done at this stage and checked off our todo list.

Live!

Once we're all happy that everything is working as expected then we'll make the site live. Once it's live we'll schedule in a time when you can come to us for a training session on using the system. We'll also go through how to setup an account to access your analytics data and make sure you have all the information you need to run your site or contact us if you have problems.
